The Sun group is MIC\u2019s group of 12 children (5 months to 3 years old) offering child developmental program according to the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori.<\/p>\n
Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952) placed the child and the individual development of the child at the heart of her pedagogy. As her scientific observation reinforced the fundamental principle that children of the age group 0 \u2013 3, absorb their environment unconsciously she developed materials that serve to promote specific skills and cognitive abilities.<\/p>\n
Our Montessori \u201cprepared environment\u201d<\/strong> is divided in:<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.17.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.17.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n An area called \u201cNido\u201d <\/strong>for children from 5 months until the day they can safely walk. Here you will find special furniture, supporting the development of gross motor skills, materials and activities for fine motor skills, language, and movement.<\/p>\n The \u201cToddler\u201d<\/strong> area is for children up to 36 months.
